Wanting to improve my knowledge of the music industry, at the start of 2021 I decided to further my skills and apply for further education. In my time already I have successfully completed all coursework, showing my knowledge of PRS, PPL, and MCPS. I can write press releases, EPKs, contracts, and budget for recording or live performances. I have a solid understanding of the music industry, from publishing to law and showcase strengths in all areas.

Through Glasgow Kelvin College, I joined the student run record label Electric Honey Records and successfully pitched my A&R artist to the class with a great response. I work very closely with emo-rock band Slowmove, liaising with them and the label to work on releasing an EP. I also helped release the Scunnurt ‘Orange Peel’ EP in April 2022.

Through my 1st year of studying at GKC I brushed up my graphic design skills, which have greatly improved across all areas. I have experience and am confident using Photoshop, Procreate, Canva, and Lightroom to create posters, social media posts, and artwork.

I recieved an A overall for my Graded Unit 2 and graduated in February 2024 while I continue working towards my Honours degree in Music Business at UHI.
